Tommy grew a deep love for buses, he collected so many including a replica Yardley Wood Bus garage. The company kindly donated the use of a brand-new electric bus to support us with Tommy’s funeral, it carried the limited family and friends to the service and back, for which was so kind and loving and demonstrated the support from the local bus company for a young boy who simply loved buses
Tommy loved 'The Blues', having received so much support from all the fans and the club on his road to recovery. On October 4th, 2020, Birmingham City dedicated their match, away to Stoke City, in Tommy’s memory. The players all wore T-Shirts with Tommy’s picture on during the pre-match warm up, despite a draw this was a fitting tribute to a boy that fought all the way, he did indeed "Keep Right On"
Tommy's name will forever be engraved on a special plaque alongside others at St Andrews, the home of Birmingham City FC. Here on the left are Tommy's older brothers and on the right is Alison, Tommy's Mom
After Tommy’s out of hospital cardiac arrest in January 2019, Tommy was visited by a few of the players of the time to give him a well-deserved boost, cheer him up and put an even bigger smile on his face. On the left is Gary Gardner who, being a father himself, was so amazed how strong Tommy was. On the right is David Stockdale, who was a massive boost to Tommy, visiting to cheer him up and play FIFA with him. David continues to this day to support the family in honour of Tommy. Both great men and took time to pop in an see how Tommy was recovering. There was also visits from then captain Micheal Morrison and the infamous 'Davo'
